Lullaby in Blue// 20"x 20"

The parent/child connection was my inspiration for this painting and what better way to illustrate it than with this pair of little glass birds that have so much sentiment attached to them in my family and perhaps in yours too. This painting combines the birds’ highly reflective glass in the foreground with soft blue feathers floating in the background. Blue feathers are said to symbolize peace and calm, and in some cultures represent guardian angels - perfect imagery for what I hoped to convey in this painting!
